Translation in Drupal, easier than ever
The Drupal CMS is one of the best of its kind when it comes to put together a multilingual web site.
Everything is there to make nodes, menus, taxonomy and menus multilingual, to display the language choice nicely, to easily switch from one language to another without leaving the page, to add extra languages in function of future needs, to manage multilingual strings, and so forth.
However, many webmasters still tear their hair out each time updates published on their Drupal site need to be translated. It can indeed be such a pain: manually exporting the content, emailing it to translators, proofreading translations, importing them one by one and so on. There has to be an easier way… The good news is that the old cumbersome and expensive process that was so error-prone and would cost double is now a thing of the past – even for small content updates.
The new easy-to-install ‘Wordbee Beebox for Drupal’ plug-in now offers a highly time-efficient and cost-effective solution. It automatically identifies any newly published content to be translated, counts the words, pre-translates from approved translation memories and creates translation projects for your human translators. Having translations published is then merely a matter of approving translations imported back automatically and posting them live. In a word, it has become child’s play.
Wordbee’s partner Connexion Corporate Communications, based in Brussels, is an agency that combines Drupal and translation expertise. They have been specialising in multilingual web sites for more than 20 years now. Besides, they are also experienced Wordbee Translator users and run their own Wordbee Beebox server. As a result, Connexion is best positioned to help you with the set-up of the ‘Wordbee Beebox for Drupal’ plugin in your Drupal site and to make you benefit from the great Beebox features, without necessarily having to install your own Beebox server. You can also rely on them to obtain high-quality translations in more than 30 languages, ideally via Wordbee Translator.
