Mandatory supplier QA checks

by | Apr 27, 2018

Poor translations have direct impact on the acceptance of your project. Quality Assurance is a key component of every translation project. The whole purpose of the (QA) quality assurance check within Wordbee Translator is to be able to deliver the best possible translations.

The Quality Assurance (QA) feature build has been available in Wordbee for a long time, The Check can detect errors in translations documents by comparing the source and the target segements. This QA check helps translators to find erros and improve the overall translation quality.

In Wordbee Translator you have the possibility to run extensive Quality Assurance checks based on predefined profiles. This QA check is a complement of the real time smart assistant.

It allows you to verify more elements like tags, spaces (leading and trailing, segmentation boundaries, sequence consistency), terminology check (if glossaries have been attached to the project), translation consistency, and first letter capitalization.

Benefit of the New update:

The QA Check has now been updated within the Wordbee translator, allowing more consistency of the translation jobs and more controlled work environment. Project Managers have now the possibility to request their vendors to run a Quality assurance (QA) before they are submitting their task.
