Even if your translation segments are ancient and growing weeds, searching for specific keywords, segments, or even portions of a sentence within project translations has never been easier thanks to Wordbee Global Search.

If, let’s say, you have a word or segment that has been translated incorrectly or needs to be replaced by another word, Global Search can be used to locate this information across all projects and resources, even if you have 10 years worth of projects and memories. It can also be used to quickly correct a translation without having to access each individual resource or translated document in the system.

Global Search be used internally or by your clients, letting them send requests for the resources that have been specifically enabled for them via the Client Portal.

How to use Global Search

Global Search is located directly on your Wordbee Translator landing page, or you can access it by hovering your mouse over “My Company” in the menu bar.

On your landing page, you can type search keywords into the box that says, “Type text to translate here.” Check or uncheck any resources (translation memories, terminology, or projects) you want to search and then click on the “Translate” button to perform the search.

On the results page, you’ll be able to view information about one of the language pairs. View or add comments, make suggestions for inaccurate translations, add labels, or even edit and delete translations straight from the results page.

Last but not least, the results can be exported. You have the option to export everything or make customized export selections.
