Supported file types
Wordbee and Beebox Integrations support all major file types for software, documents, games, e-commerce, web, and documents, making it a powerful solution for any industry.
Adobe FrameMaker: Translate all Framemaker versions starting at v8 and using Unicode fonts (.mif).
Adobe InDesign: IDML: CS4 to latest version. INDD: CS6.
ASP.NET: Localization of web pages (.aspx), controls (.asmx) and resource files (.resx).
Code files: Localization of source code files such as javascript, css, c, java or c# code.
CSV files: Character-Separated Values. The separator can be either a comma, a semicolon, a tabulation…
DITA: Translate Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA). It is an XML data model for authoring.
Email messages: Translate .msg and .eml.
InCopy files: From CS4 to latest version.
INI files: Software configuration files.
iOS files: iOS resources files (.string).
Java properties: Translate (.properties) localization nodes according to user's configuration.
JSON files: JSON node localization according to user’s configuration.
Microsoft Excel Multilingual: Translate Excel sheets that contain different languages in different columns. For example: column A is English, B is French, C is German and D are comments/instructions. Once translated into all target languages, the Excel is updated while formatting, headers etc. are preserved.
Microsoft Excel: All versions from 97. Handles embedded graphics and charts.
Microsoft Powerpoint: All versions from 97. Handles embedded graphics and charts.
Microsoft Visio: All versions from 97 to 2010.
Microsoft Word: All versions from 97. Handles embedded graphics and charts.
Open Office: Translate Open Document Text files (.odt).
PDF: Wordbee handles editable PDFs. Scanned documents saved as PDFs, where the text is embedded in an image of the document, require OCR and an alternative workflow.
Photoshop: Extracts both text and formatting information. With the current version translations are exported as either Excel, Html or Ods. The direct recomposition of translated Photoshop files will be added in the future.
POT/PO: Used by many CMS systems such as Drupal.
RTF: Translate classic rich text files.
SDLXLIFF: Translate SDLXLIFF files.
SVG: Translate .svg files
Text files: NewFlat text files, such as .txt or .utf8.
